Two too...

Our country is shocked when an 81 year old man presents as elderly, but ignores the 78 year old that's yapping like a spoiled child.  Stumbling over words is disqualifying while spewing lies is applauded in our debates.

Joe's too old. Don's too old.  Age should disqualify them both.

Being Medicare age myself, I can say this without speculation. 75 is as old as anyone running for office needs to be. That's generous.

But we've talked about this.

Unless something happens, the two too old men in that debate will be the two too old men on the ballot. If something happens, I only want the right thing to happen otherwise I want nothing to happen. So let's go with nothing happening.

One too old man on that stage inherited a booming economy but doubled the national debt, cozied up to 3rd world dictators, got impeached, then dropped the ball in the face of a worldwide pandemic. He also put three people on the Supreme Court.

The other too old man beat the first one in the election, then guided the country out of the pandemic, restored the economy and stock market overseeing historically low unemployment rates and rising wages, and successfully lowered the inflation that was inevitable after a worldwide economic and supply chain shutdown from the pandemic.

One too old man was the only president to call for the U.S. Capital to be attacked. One was the only former president to claim his election was stolen without any evidence of wrongdoing or tampering in any state to back his words.  The only one to be convicted of felonies after serving in the White House.

The too old man occupying the White House has stood up to our enemies and supported our allies without fail.  He helped broker a deal within the congress to further seal our borders, too, but the too old man that also lies too much got wind of the bill and threatened his toadies in congress, so they voted against their own agreement.

So he could get into the debate and overblow the border problems. Which he did ad nauseum.

This week the Supreme Court one too old man put three people on decided the President of the United States can be immune to the laws of the land by a 6-3 vote. Their ruling would have saved Richard Nixon. It could shield Trump.

The conservative supreme court has ruled presidents can be above the law, that women have no right to body-autonomy, that our elections are open to the highest bidder.  The conservative supreme court has made it harder for certain American citizens to vote, for regulatory agencies to protect our environment, and to have common sense gun regulations.

Conservative judges across the country are weakening regulations intended to protect the public from corporate overreach and tearing down the walls between church and state. Their rulings draw more lawsuits that serve to clog the courts and impede government oversight.

Too old in the next election isn't the real issue.  They're both too old but only one is too conservative. You're not voting for president, you're voting for the courts.
