It's probably only coincidence that Trump suggests stifling NATO, which kept the Soviet Union from running over Europe for decades, the week before asking Putin to spy on his presidential opponent. Right?

Speaking of fraud, the 25 year right wing campaign to destroy Hillary Clinton culminated in her being the first woman presidential candidate from a major party in our nation's history. That's another successful Republican program.
The truth is, not that it matters, she's been a successful and effective public servant. She sure isn't perfect but neither are you (even you Trumpets). Anyone who's had manure thrown at them for nearly 3 decades isn't going to smell good. That and the following is for any Berner's still hanging out.
A lot of us wanted Bernie, my friends. He was my candidate. But he wasn't perfect either. He lost. More people voted for Hillary, it's that simple.
It's a pure fraud that Hillary is the lesser of two evils. She might not be your choice, but she isn't evil. That's reality television stuff. If there's an evil, I'm pointing at the one who is publicly asking our enemies, his creditors, to influence our presidential election.
Put another way, if you're a Bernie supporter and you think Hillary is no better candidate than Trump, you are as dumb as a coal bucket. Listen to the guy you idolized a week ago. He sure gets it.
Revolutions are rarely won on the presidential level. Get progressives elected on the local and state level, the national revolution will follow. It's clear we need another alternative, but alternatives have to be there for local and state, not just presidential elections. Those are fools gold. Split electorates never turn out well. Get in your way back machine and go to 2000.
I'd say the most progressive thing a progressive voter could do in this year is elect the first female president of the U.S. That's one first that it's way past time for, even if she wasn't your first choice.
The best part is the next time one of your Republican pals calls you commie or socialist you can look them straight in the eye and say "thanks comrade Trump."
